Responsibilities

• Architecture recommendations
• Evaluate and recommend software tools and products that will evolve the organizational technical infrastructure
• Integrate hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system
• Review and optimize architectures for business fit
• Evaluate tools and technology
• Provide training in Software Architecture
• Translate business needs into technical system solutions

Qualifications

• BS (CS) or equivalent

Experience

• 6-12 years experience in software development with 1-2 years experience in designing architecture for large system

Skills

• Experience with Client/server technologies such as UNIX/Oracle/middleware or Internet technologies such as Microsoft or Java based architectures
• Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, architectures and CASE tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience interfacing with the customer
