Mr. Douglas Winter
Chief Executive Officer
Doug

Douglas is the CEO for US Operations of Objectiva Software Solutions. Prior to founding Objectiva, he served as the General Manager for ONEWORLD Software Solutions' California Client Service Centers. He served in this role for two years, establishing the west coast operations and growing them to over three million dollars in revenue. He also served ONEWORLD as part of the Global Operations Committee that was responsible for formulating and executing the strategic operations of the company.

Prior to ONEWORLD, Douglas spent three years with QUALCOMM in their Subscriber Products and Infrastructure divisions. While with QUALCOMM, Douglas was a Program Manager responsible for QUALCOMM's 3500 series of CDMA base stations and later was responsible for the product certification and testing of the QUALCOMM Thin Phone (QCP 860/1960).

Douglas holds a MSEE and a MBA from MIT and a BSEE from Virginia Tech. Following his undergraduate work, he worked for three years for Westinghouse where he was an instructor for the US Navy's Nuclear training program.

Mr. Robert Corace
President
Robert

Robert is the President of Objectiva Software Solutions. Prior to joining Objectiva, he served as part of the executive team at Symphony Services for four years in several different roles including VP of Strategic Consulting, Managing Director EIS business unit, and most recently Managing Director covering East, Europe, and many large accounts at Symphony. Mr. Corace was also responsible for incubating and leading the Financial Services segment within Symphony. Additionally, Robert developed many of the consulting offerings, managed many of the large strategic client projects, and assisted with many of the large scale sales pursuits.

Prior to Symphony, Robert was the Founder and CEO of VMOplus. VMOplus was a boutique consulting firm focusing on two distinct tracks. Globalization Strategy and the adoption of leading edge technologies including SAAS and SOA. VMOplus clients spanned companies from Industry Leading Financial Services to High-Tech Software and Start-Ups in the US and the UK. VMOplus was acquired by Symphony Services in June, 2006.

Robert also held other senior level sales, management and technical leadership roles at Pricewaterhouse, IBM, W.R.Grace and Office Depot.

Robert has an BA degree from Devry and continues his education at MIT, and Babson College.

Mr. Nasser Barghouti, PhD.
Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Barghouti is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Objectiva Software Solutions, Inc, the leading software outsource provider to China. He is responsible for technical oversight on software projects for setting the technology direction of the company. Prior to founding Objectiva, he was Global Technology Director at ONEWORLD Software Solutions, a global software outsourcing provider. Prior to that, he was associate director of Information Technology at Bear Stearns & Co in New York City, one of the world's leading investment banks and brokerage clearing houses. Prior to that, Dr. Barghouti was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Research Labs in Florham Park, NJ and Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ.

Dr. Barghouti received his BS, MS and PhD all in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1985, 1987 and 1992, respectively. His PhD thesis was titled "Concurrency Control in Rule-Based Software Environments". Dr. Barghouti's research interests are in the areas of software for the wireless Internet, enterprise middleware, large-scale software architecture, software process automation and improvement, concurrency control in database systems, and rule-based software systems. He has published dozens of papers in refereed journals and international conferences, and has given numerous presentations at leading research labs and scientific forums.

Mr. Yiping Tan, PhD.
Chief Operating Officer, China
Yiping

Yiping is Chief Operating Officer at Objectiva Software Solutions. He assists in directing the company's overall solution delivery strategy throughout its integrated network of global client services centers and software development centers in the United States and China.

Yiping's areas of expertise include:

  • Software development processes, principles, and framework (CMM, SPS)
  • Project leadership, mentorship, and management
  • Object-oriented analysis, enterprise systems design, and programming (UML, Rational Rose, C++, Web Logic, WebSphere)
  • Pattern recognition; Statistical analysis of experimental data; Simulation of random processes (Monte Carlo)

Yiping completed his studies in Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, in Beijing, where he earned his Master's and Doctoral degrees in 1991 and 1995, respectively. The results of his research and thesis on Purely and Semi-Leptonic Decay of D_s Messon were published in many prestigious international Physics journals. He received his Bachelor's degree in 1988 in Physics at Fudan University, Shanghai. Yiping also attended classes at Stanford University while completing his doctorate.

Mr. John Hitchcock
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
John

John is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Objectiva Software Solutions. Prior to joining Objectiva, John was VP of Marketing and Sales Operations at the international technology services firms Symphony Services and GlobalLogic where he managed teams in the U.S., China, India and Ukraine.

Earlier, John led U.S. and E.U. demand generation, business development and alliances at the award-winning virtual appliance company ClearCube Technology, and Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP - later acquired by Novell). Over four years at CTP John and his team helped the Nasdaq listed technology services company increase revenue from $140 million to $628 million.

John began his career in software and networking sales, holding leadership positions with KPN Telecom and GE, where he was recognized for outstanding sales achievement by Jack Welch. John has worked tirelessly with both start-up and established companies in the Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Mobile, ISV and Embedded verticals to help them better assess high-impact global software development capabilities in China, India and Eastern Europe.

John is a published author and received his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University.

Ms. Cecilia Young
Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
Cecilia

Cecilia is the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Objectiva Software Solutions. In this role, Cecilia is responsible for all aspects of HR, policy, strategy, and management. Her role is key to the development and future growth of Objectiva and our clients. In addition, she plays a key role in various company restructuring, professional certifications and business development initiatives. Under her leadership, Objectiva has achieved distinctive and sustainable track records of scalability and employee retention. This, she attributes to not only the effective Human Resources programs, but also the company culture which nurtures autonomy, team work, communication, creativity and innovation.

Prior to joining Objectiva, Cecilia held senior management and executive positions as VP of Human Resources & Administration of Chinacast Technology, a Sino-US joint venture in satellite systems; Regional Director of URC Consulting, a headhunting firm specializing in the high tech and IT industries; as well as Head of Human Resources & Administration of the Emperor Group, a business conglomerate of public companies. Cecilia joined Objectiva at 2005.

Cecilia was awarded a Bachelor's degree of Arts (hons) and a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Management by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has also studied Business Administration at the University of Toronto and Telecommunications Management at the Centennial College of Toronto.
