Mr. Douglas Winter
Chief Executive Officer, President of Objectiva Software Solutions

Douglas is the CEO and President for US Operations of Objectiva Software Solutions. Prior to founding Objectiva, he served as the General Manager for ONEWORLD Software Solutions' California Client Service Centers. He served in this role for two years, establishing the west coast operations and growing them to over three million dollars in revenue. He also served ONEWORLD as part of the Global Operations Committee that was responsible for formulating and executing the strategic operations of the company.

Prior to ONEWORLD, Douglas spent three years with QUALCOMM in their Subscriber Products and Infrastructure divisions. While with QUALCOMM, Douglas was a Program Manager responsible for QUALCOMM's 3500 series of CDMA base stations and later was responsible for the product certification and testing of the QUALCOMM Thin Phone (QCP 860/1960).

Douglas holds a MSEE and a MBA from MIT and a BSEE from Virginia Tech. Following his undergraduate work, he worked for three years for Westinghouse where he was an instructor for the US Navy's Nuclear training program.

Mr. Tao Ye
Chief Operating Officer, President of Objectiva China

Tao is the COO and President of China Operations of Objectiva Software Solutions, where he contributes significant operations, finance, marketing, and manufacturing management experience. Prior to founding Objectiva, he served as General Manager of the Greater China Division of ONEWORLD Software Solutions, where he set up the Beijing office and, within a year, grew it to fifty people. Under his leadership, the Greater China Division successfully delivered thirteen software projects to US based clients and achieved an average client satisfactory rating of 4.05 out of 5 with an on-time/on-budget rate of 87%. Tao was also instrumental in helping the company obtain its 2nd and 3rd round of financing and was key in structuring alliances with Intel, Microsoft and HP.

Prior to ONEWORLD, Tao was Program Manager for Intel Materials eBusiness effort, where he successfully brought over one billion dollars Intel procurement and over ten Intel suppliers from off line processes to online processes. He also worked for Eastman Kodak Company where he designed and implemented Kodak's supply chain for Greater China Region. Tao has consulted and advised many high-tech start-ups and traditional companies in the US and in China, including Intel, Frazier & Company (a medical venture capital company located in Seattle), Eastman Kodak, CN-ALL (an eCommerce software startup), Ju-Chen Industries (a successful holding company), and Shang Age (a network services/software company).

A native of GuangDong Province, Tao holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the MIT School of Engineering, a M.S. in Materials Science from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a B.S. in Mathematical Mechanics from Peking (Beijing) University.

Mr. Nasser Barghouti, PhD.
Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Barghouti is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Objectiva Software Solutions, Inc, the leading software outsource provider to China. He is responsible for technical oversight on software projects for setting the technology direction of the company. Prior to founding Objectiva, he was Global Technology Director at ONEWOLRD Software Solutions, a global software outsourcing provider. Prior to that, he was associate director of Information Technology at Bear Stearns & Co in New York City, one of the world's leading investment banks and brokerage clearing houses. Prior to that, Dr. Barghouti was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Research Labs in Florham Park, NJ and Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ.

Dr. Barghouti received his BS, MS and PhD all in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1985, 1987 and 1992, respectively. His PhD thesis was titled "Concurrency Control in Rule-Based Software Environments". Dr. Barghouti's research interests are in the areas of software for the wireless Internet, enterprise middleware, large-scale software architecture, software process automation and improvement, concurrency control in database systems, and rule-based software systems. He has published dozens of papers in refereed journals and international conferences, and has given numerous presentations at leading research labs and scientific forums.

Mr. Yiping Tan, PhD.
Vice President of Delivery, Beijing Development Center

Yiping is Delivery Director at Objectiva Software Solutions. He assists in directing the company's overall solution delivery strategy throughout its integrated network of global client services centers and software development centers in the United States and China.

Yiping's areas of expertise include:

  • Software development processes, principles, and framework (CMM, SPS)
  • Project leadership, mentorship, and management
  • Object-oriented analysis, enterprise systems design, and programming (UML, Rational Rose, C++, Web Logic, WebSphere)
  • Pattern recognition; Statistical analysis of experimental data; Simulation of random processes (Monte Carlo)

Yiping completed his studies in Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, in Beijing, where he earned his Master's and Doctoral degrees in 1991 and 1995, respectively. The results of his research and thesis on Purely and Semi-Leptonic Decay of D_s Messon were published in many prestigious international Physics journals. He received his Bachelor's degree in 1988 in Physics at Fudan University, Shanghai. Yiping also attended classes at Stanford University while completing his doctorate.

Ms. Jeanne Beyer
Vice President Global Business Development

Jeanne is a long time practitioner in the strategic external services market with US and Global Suppliers, as a Vice President managing major national product introductions for ADP in the financial services industry. A confirmed believer in quality external services, Jeanne was a key driver of the Strategic ADP team to revamp the manual databases to electronic files in an accelerated mode by using external service providers.

Recent offshore work in Eastern Europe with Silicon Valley high tech players and current work in Asia has given Jeanne a broad understanding of the critical factors in a successful offshore client experience.

Jeanne's background also includes a focus in the automotive industry, including corporate business market strategy for Allied Signal Corporation, Yugo Corporation and consulting with SRI (Stanford Research Institute), with International work in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Ms. Beyer has an MS in Chinese Studies from State University of New York at New Paltz, and an MBA from University at Albany, New York.
