Client Need

Client Industries needed a strong technical partner to design and build leading edge Location Based Service (LBS) applications. The project was to designed to assist a next generation wireless communications company in demonstrating the capabilities of their GPS-one multi-media enabled chips.

Objectiva's Solution

Objectiva applied their expertise in Qualcomm's BREW platform to build two applications-a California amusement park and Beijing's Forbidden City-to allow users to download an interactive map of the respective locales from a server to their mobile phone. The application also allows users to pinpoint their own location on the map.
