Client Need

Client wanted to develop a management system for airport cargo service handling. Product would support the following functions: cargo check-in; flight management; ULD controlling, storage management; load controlling; and EDI data exchange.

Objectiva's Solution

Replaced a forms-based legacy system which suffered problems of scalability and limited information access with web-based system to manage cargo flow. Interfaces with the SITA system for international data exchange, as well as external systems for security, customs, etc. Also provides convenient interface to retail cargo outlets in Beijing region.
